FIS Ski Cross Country Worldcup 2008 Düsseldorf

On 20th and 21th December 2008 the best athletes from all over the world are competing for worldcup points and their qualification for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championchip 2009 in Liberic, Czech Republic. Being awarded the new date in December, Düsseldorf
joins famous venues like Kuusamo (Finland), Beitostolen (Norway) and Val di Fiemme (Italy). One day before the worldcup, an extensive programme of events will provide entertain for everybody.

IAAF World Championships in Athletics berlin 2009™

Also in 2009 Berlin will be a sports metropolis when the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Athletics will hold here. From 15 to 23 August international top class athletes will compete against each other and the audience will certainly watch an exciting tournament.

VIII Gay Games Cologne 2010

The next Gay Games take place in Cologne. From 31st Juli to 7 August 2010 around 12.000 participants from all over the world will compete in 30 sport disciplines and demonstrate tolerance. "Be part of it!" is the slogan of edition VIII of the Gay Games in Cologne in 2010. Everybody can take part, independently from his or her sexual orientation. It just does not matter, if you are heterosexual, homosexual, transgender or transsexual.

FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2011

There is no other place in Germany representing Alpine Skiing like Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
