Museum Embankment Festival Frankfurt

The Museum Embankment Festival in Frankfurt, one of the largest of its kind in Europe, regularly attracts more than three million visitors. For three whole days, the city celebrates its thriving arts and cultural scene on a stretch of the River Main known as the "museum embankment". This sensational summer event also features art projects, theatre and 21 stages of live acts. There will also be several hundred stands selling crafts, food and drink. Every year, a different theme adds a new dimension to the festival and the choice for 2008 is "the fascination of Turkey - culture between the Orient and the Occident."
